Consent Banner and Consent Mode Implementation Steps

  3. In the banner settings, enable Google Consent Mode and either set the defaults over the CookieFirst platform or use their Google Tag Manager (GTM) template to set up Google Consent Mode for your website.
  4. Go to the embed code settings and copy the cookie banner embed code.
  5. Add the embed code directly after the <head> tag on your website.

To use Consent Mode and the cookie banner, you either need to be able to change the code on your website or know how to use Google Tag Manager to configure Consent Mode for your website.
